Villa Ampelaki is located in Akrotiri peninsula, around 8 km north east of Chania town.

The surrounding area is a quiet, natural environment ideal for relaxation but also very close to all kinds of supplies shops, restaurants and various services. The closest living area is the village of Kounipidiana where you can find bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants with traditional Cretan food and it is located only 2 km away.

The city centre of Chania to the west and the suburb of Souda to the east are only 8 km away. Close to the villa you will find several sandy beaches that you should visit. The most popular ones are Kalathas beach which is around 5.5 km away and Marathi beach which is ideal for families with children and it is located 11 km from the villa. The villa’s location is ideal for one more reason: its 10 minutes proximity to the main national road, this making excursions around Crete a very easy thing to do.
